Would a string ensemble be appropriate for my event?
String ensembles add grace and refinement to any special occasions such as weddings/ceremonies, corporate events and private parties.

What is the attire for a string ensemble?
Ensemble attire is concert black, unless otherwise requested.

How can I include a string ensemble into my wedding and what selections do you recommend?
Please refer to our popular selections page for ideas.

Our wedding is in Lawrence, KS, does your ensemble travel?
We will travel to places outside of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area for a fee. Prices are discussed on a case by case basis.

My partner and I have a special song request. Can the string ensemble play this for my processional?

1. If you are interested in a special piece that is not on our standard repertoire list but is available in the correct instrumentation or easily transposed, we ask that you reimburse us for the purchase of that music.

2. If you are interested in a piece not arranged for the correct instrumentation, we would be happy to arrange that piece for your event. The fee for this will be determined by the complexity of the music requested. Six (6) weeks notice is requested for this service. Prices range from $25-$100.

Can the quartet attend my wedding dress rehearsal?

We have found that attending the dress rehearsal is unnecessary. Our professional string ensembles have performed hundreds of weddings without attending the rehearsal. However, if you feel it necessary, we can attend the rehearsal for a fee.

How soon do I need to contact the ensemble to be assured of availability?

Our calendar quickly fills up several months in advance, so book early to ensure availability. However, feel free to contact us at any time regarding scheduling.
